Teddy Bear Sweetness

I don't make a ton of these bear hats but when I got an order for one the other day I decided to make one for West too.  We had a little photo session yesterday and I am loving the results!  He was such a good model!  He makes the most serious faces though... just check out the blog header for example!! 

Awe... melts my heart!

 I also wanted to add a bow because in my opinion the hats just aren't complete without a bow or flower or button... something.  The bow is on a clip and can be taken off. 

Daddy will die if he sees these.  Am I horrible?? I hope not, I just needed an example with the bow.  I suppose I didn't have to throw on the necklace or flower background.  He looks mad so that is a good thing :)

That necklace is so dang cute right, I made it!  Checkout THIS amazing blog!! She has the BEST ideas and they are all so girly and perfect! I love it  I have never even made a necklace but she teaches it step by step!

Hello!  Happy Thursday!  So I have been bouncing around from place to place and blog to blog and I found this site that has a whole bunch of things you can do with your photos... and it's free!

I made this with my cousins baby pictures using the Mosaic Maker. 

And I had to play with the Photobooth.  That is me and my Ryker when he was just little guy.  I miss those days when he couldn't talk back to me! ha ha

Happy Valentine's Day!  This is my favorite hat of yours. I am due in 8 short weeks with a baby girl. I have to have it!  Today we are going to my son's friend's 4th birthday party. I know, everyone's jealous!

Sounds like a bunch of you were going to have a fabulous Valentines Day!! I hung out with the kiddos and spent some time with some family.  These are the little shirts I embellished for the boys (plus our kissy sucker lips pictures from V-day)!!

They came out cute right!?!  I love them and totally hope one day I have a little girl... these would have looks so cute in pink ha!  They were pretty easy too... just make a heart with buttons and sewed them down on to the shirt.  I outlined them with some embroidery floss too for extra sweetness.  Not sure how "baby/toddler proof" they are but they held up and even stayed perfect in the washer! 

Now I am having all these thoughts for more ideas for cute shirts other crafts and I have been looking at all these different blogs with the cutest ideas... it's bad!  I went out and bought a bunch of plain tees to decorate when I have time. February has been a busy month for the shop!  When I get on top of things I am going to start playing and sharing!

Rambling before bed....

Oh my gosh how is it already almost 10:00!! I had so many plans for tonight. Ugh, I hate that. Time goes by way too fast. I started getting up early to get more done before the boys wake up and I still am up late! I *heart* my alone time so much! But yeah, I need to get to bed... plus West is going to be up in like 4 hours because he doesn't believe in sleeping through the night without snacking :)

Ryker took a picture of me with our little "eyes" but he totally got my bad side so no sharing for me ha!

Baby Crib Bedding

I am so excited... I just found (FINALLY) this crib bedding set for West at target.com! I swear everything is my place is from Target... all our bed sets, living room set, 2 different bathroom sets, some kitchen stuff.... seriously, they have the cutest stuff!I think I am going to get some of those canvas things and some paint and make a few pictures to match his new bed set :) We'll see how they turn out, I kinda want to make some for the kids bathroom too. I got this way cute shower curtain for them... ha they don't even need it.. but it was so stinkin adorable I had to get it. Have a lovely Sunday!

Fun Stuff

So I have this horrible habit of starting projects and never finishing them... well these are some of those that I have finally finished and listed at a pretty sweet discounted price (all under $16) in my Etsy shop. They are all so cute and most are one of a kind.

I love cleaning out my craft closet! Now I have some room for new projects.. YAY!!

Like this.....Ahhhh, isn't it lovely :) I have been wanting to design a bonnet for forever and finally one morning just came up with this! My cousin was kind enough to lend me her baby, Adrie for testing! She was wide awake for the longest time and finally crashed for me. Then I moved her like twice and BAM, she was awake again! But I had a blast playing photographer with her :)

Oh and I have to share these pictures... I dressed my boys up nice on Sunday and had my mom take a few shots of us. She did pretty good and actually got my good side ha ha!

I love the ones of me and West.. I don't have a ton of just us. Anyway, I better go get something made for dinner!! Hope you have a nice, quiet evening... that is what I am hoping for :)

Birthday Boy.... kinda

Today is my little West's half birthday :) Six months old and six months till he is one!! Crazy! I felt like I needed to make him a special hat for today. I used a cardboard cone from my cotton yarn, covered it with scrapbook paper, poked holes, strung some ribbon through and topped it off with a pom pom :) So cute but it would not stay on! Every time he moved it slipped off... so I added some tape to the bottom and stuck it to his head ha ha.

At 6 months West is....

- starting to eat bananas, peas, carrots, applesauce and oatmeal cereal (He hates all of it)

- still wakes up at least twice a night to eat
- bringing his toys and anything laying around to his mouth

- rolling over both ways but hasn't figured out how to get around yet

- likes to spit, especially when he is eating peas

- loves his mama and constantly wants to be held

- enjoys car rides, he usually falls to sleep whenever we go out

- thinks his brother is silly

-getting soooo chubby, his thighs are huge!
