Newsboy+Bow Tie= HOLY CUTE

Cute right???  I get ideas for new things all the time but sometimes I make the item, love it and then a couple days pass and I am like-- what was I thinking!?!  I think this is a keeper though.  It's super adorable for the little guys out there!  I am loving the newsie with the touch of color on the trim. The tie looks pretty cute alone too! This will be in the shop VERY soon :)

Hello!  Sorry for making you all wait so long for this month's giveaway.  We have had a crummy cold lingering in our house for over a week now... it's finally clearing up thank goodness. Peachy Keen Daydream

That name seriously took me all freakin morning to come up with.  Nothing I was thinking of was clicking with the hat.   I like it now, it rhymes :)  I did think of a bunch of cute name that didn't fit with the hat so now I am persuading myself into making new hats just to pair with them... "Snicker Doodle", "Freckled something or other", "Tweedledee &Tweeledum" (perfect for twin hats)!  The wheels are turning now :) Melissa DeGroot sent some picture to me for the shop... so cute!! I am loving the vintage look of this one right now. 

March giveaway will be in a couple days... any ideas for what should be offered up?  I have no clue... something old, something new something borrowed, something blue??? Ha, just kidding.  If you have a preference, speak up now :)

OH BOY!

Hooray for boys!  Like I said before, it is so hard for me to come up with little boy hats (even with two boys of my own!)  I came up with these hats mainly because I am trying to use up some yarn in my stash that I have been hoarding for a while.  So, these will only be in the shop until I run out of supplies to make them with.  I am in love.  I just got these photos sent to me from the talented Jennifer Bahn. I am so happy to introduce........

Ahhh... I love sweet little baby eye candy! Who doesn't? 

I am still trying to make something cute for the older babies... these are kind of newborn-ish.  I just got some brown that was supposed to be used for my "Little Flyer" hat.  Unfortunately, it is the wrong shade (I am so mad I cannot find that yarn anywhere). I think I'll figure out something cute to make with it rather than ship it back.

Spring Sneak Peaks

Today is so nice out.  I am so excited for more days like this!  I have been dreaming up new beauties for spring... flowers, butterflies and pastels... hello gorgeous!

Boy hats are coming soon!  I hate leaving them out!

On a side note the little guy is teething..... no fun :( 

On top of that he keeps tilting his head of to one side... it is so weird. He will not hold it straight!  So, I made an appointment to get it checkout out today.  Anybody out there seen this?  We'll see what the doctor says I guess.  Have a fabulous day!

Teddy Bear Sweetness

I don't make a ton of these bear hats but when I got an order for one the other day I decided to make one for West too.  We had a little photo session yesterday and I am loving the results!  He was such a good model!  He makes the most serious faces though... just check out the blog header for example!! 

Awe... melts my heart!

 I also wanted to add a bow because in my opinion the hats just aren't complete without a bow or flower or button... something.  The bow is on a clip and can be taken off. 

Daddy will die if he sees these.  Am I horrible?? I hope not, I just needed an example with the bow.  I suppose I didn't have to throw on the necklace or flower background.  He looks mad so that is a good thing :)

That necklace is so dang cute right, I made it!  Checkout THIS amazing blog!! She has the BEST ideas and they are all so girly and perfect! I love it  I have never even made a necklace but she teaches it step by step!

Hello!  Happy Thursday!  So I have been bouncing around from place to place and blog to blog and I found this site that has a whole bunch of things you can do with your photos... and it's free!

I made this with my cousins baby pictures using the Mosaic Maker. 

And I had to play with the Photobooth.  That is me and my Ryker when he was just little guy.  I miss those days when he couldn't talk back to me! ha ha

Happy Valentine's Day!  This is my favorite hat of yours. I am due in 8 short weeks with a baby girl. I have to have it!  Today we are going to my son's friend's 4th birthday party. I know, everyone's jealous!

Sounds like a bunch of you were going to have a fabulous Valentines Day!! I hung out with the kiddos and spent some time with some family.  These are the little shirts I embellished for the boys (plus our kissy sucker lips pictures from V-day)!!

They came out cute right!?!  I love them and totally hope one day I have a little girl... these would have looks so cute in pink ha!  They were pretty easy too... just make a heart with buttons and sewed them down on to the shirt.  I outlined them with some embroidery floss too for extra sweetness.  Not sure how "baby/toddler proof" they are but they held up and even stayed perfect in the washer! 

Now I am having all these thoughts for more ideas for cute shirts other crafts and I have been looking at all these different blogs with the cutest ideas... it's bad!  I went out and bought a bunch of plain tees to decorate when I have time. February has been a busy month for the shop!  When I get on top of things I am going to start playing and sharing!

Rambling before bed....

Oh my gosh how is it already almost 10:00!! I had so many plans for tonight. Ugh, I hate that. Time goes by way too fast. I started getting up early to get more done before the boys wake up and I still am up late! I *heart* my alone time so much! But yeah, I need to get to bed... plus West is going to be up in like 4 hours because he doesn't believe in sleeping through the night without snacking :)
