Twinkle Star-- A Crochet Pattern

This cute star pattern is super easy and fast to make.  I thought I would share. This is my first time writing a pattern for someone other than myself so I hope it makes sense.  Enjoy!

Twinkle Star
Hook Size-- I
Worsted Weight Yarn
  • Chain 3  Join with sl st to first chain to form a circle.
  • Chain 2 (count as 1st hdc).  9 hdc in center. Join with sl st to first  hdc.
  • (Chain 5 sl st in 2nd chain from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in next ch, dc in last ch.  Skip one hdc, sl st in next hdc).  Repeat 4 more times and finish off with a sl st into the bottom of your first point.

Also, I decided to use a star in OOAK Hat #3... Rockstar :)

Thanks for the great pattern. I used it to make mini fairy wands using a 4 mm hook and adding a 15 SC chain.

Thank you so much for this pattern! You have no idea how long I've looked for an easy, yet nice looking star crochet pattern. I have a friend who is crocheting a flag afghan and wanted me to stitch the stars, so I got a lot of work to do........but not nearly as much with this pattern!
