Spring Fling $2 Giveaway!

Happy Tuesday!
I am here with a $2 "giveaway".  I only have one "Spring Fling" headband to giveaway in size NEWBORN.  The first person to checkout gets it.  If the "Buy Now" Paypal button below is gone, the headband has already been sold.
The $2 covers the shipping fee and makes it easy so I don't have to pick a winner.
A little info about this headband-- It created while I was designing "Jane" headband.  In the end I cut the big pink poof out and went for a simpler look.
*SOLD*
If you missed out on the headband be sure to checkout these cuties instead...

Fasten off, weave in ends.
*Attach to sides of body.

Eyes
Form ring
8 sc in center. Fasten off, weave in ends.
*Sew on beads to the center of each eye.

Finishing and Assembly
*For the tassels on the top of the body I took a singe piece of yarn and threaded it around a stitch.  I tied a couple knots to secure it there then trimmed the pieces of yarn.
*For the fabric center, free hand cut your shape to fit the body how you like.  Use your needle and thread to sew it onto the front of the owl's body.
*Attach the bottom piece to the body with your thread and needle.  When you get about 3/4 of the way around stuff your owl and finish sewing.
*Cut a small triangle shape from your yellow felt and hot glue over your fabric at the top of the body.
*Hot glue your eyes on just above the beak.
Wooooo HOOOOO you're done!
I hope if you can crochet you like the pattern.  Remember I am no pro and I don't know the exact way to write a pattern.  I hope it all makes sense and there are no errors.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Prettiest lil' scarf EVER!

Just popping in to say hello :)

I wore the prettiest scarf today.  I got it at DownEast Outfitters.  I love it so much, can you tell!  It is so ruffly and fun. I highly recommend one.  It makes the perfect spring accessory.
I am tempted to make more for myself now :)

I have also been working on projects.....
hats, a super awesome baby gift for a friend (can not wait to share) and this sweet owl pattern.
More on that tomorrow!

Behind the scenes of "Blossom" shoot.

My littlest worker has been at it again.  See his previous employee history HERE.

On this particular day he informed me that my photo shoot for "Blossom" was way off.
He decided to step in and take matters into his own hands.........

He worked quite fast and then admired his work.

Oh my little boy, such a clever helper!

Pretty Hair and a WINNER!!

So, I chickened out on the full blown blonde look and went for about half  bleached.
I was mad at myself at first because I didn't see much of a difference when it was wet. But, after my stylist dried it I loved it!
I wanted to look extra cute with my new hair so I borrowed my besties jacket and top... and necklace... and shoes!  Ha, yeah pretty much everything was hers.
Don't you love how I look like a bobble head doll in the picture on the right!?

And now for our winner....
Congrats Renae!  You can email me at jacylechtenb@msn.com with your info for the Rocketeer hat.
Thank you to all who entered!  There is already a giveaway for May in the works too so check back soon.  Have a happy Tuesday :)

Nerves.....

I'm going bleach/ platinum blonde tomorrow if everything works out right.
I am so nervous.  I have never dyed my hair one color, I usually go for highlights.  I keep having haunting thoughts of high school when I let my friend dye my hair and it came out YELLOW.   I am praying it comes out cute.  I need a change and I don't want to cut it a whole lot so I opted for color.  The brown and blonde highlights are getting old.  Plus summer is coming up so I want something bright and happy :)
Wish me luck!!
