Shake you groove thing... and a $1 giveaway!

I have been on a headband kick the past few nights.  My plan was to design a simple and sweet headband to include with each order from my shop... because everyone loves a little something extra... and I ended up unleashing a creative beast!!

What do you think about these cuties?

I was feeling a bit retro :)  They are all so sweet and dainty, great for a newborns tiny head.

While making them I had a few extra supplies so I decided to do $1 giveaway.

I have a total of 5 to giveaway.  They are all in size 0-3 months and perfect for newborns.  The $1 covers the shipping cost and makes it so I don't have to "pick" a winner.  If you want to snag a headband you will see a Paypal button below each headband to checkout with.  I will ship the bands tomorrow via USPS first class mail. If the Paypal buttons are gone, the bands have been sold.

Summer is so bright and happy. I wanted to create a new take on my classic monster hats using some new shades.  I really love the results and am so excited about the new color combos!

So, I chickened out on the full blown blonde look and went for about half  bleached.

I was mad at myself at first because I didn't see much of a difference when it was wet. But, after my stylist dried it I loved it!

I wanted to look extra cute with my new hair so I borrowed my besties jacket and top... and necklace... and shoes!  Ha, yeah pretty much everything was hers. 

 Don't you love how I look like a bobble head doll in the picture on the right!?

This hat is made with wool yarn.  It features little felt "goggles" and a chin strap.  It can be made in size newborn, 0-3, 3-6 and 6-12 months.

Hi there!! I am back from a little "vacation" and feeling totally refreshed and very inspired.

The Name Game--- Giveaway Contest!

This hat needs a name.  For my bow hats I like using cute, simple names that sort of  match the hat to me.  In the past I have used "Sugar and Spice", "Smitten", "Sweet Pea", "Bubbley", "Butterfly Kisses" ect.  You can check those hats out in my SHOP to get an idea of what I mean.

I will let you play the naming game with this one!

Here is the deal, you can enter as many names as you want.  It doesn't matter to me if they are all in the same comment or separate comments.... I will be sure to look at them all :)  I will choose my favorite name to call the hat on Sunday September 19th.

It has been TOO long

This time I am going to make excuses for not posting anything in FOREVER. On top of never feeling like I have enough time to get things done, I can’t load any pictures onto my computer right now. It is SO annoying. I have so much to show you all. I feel like a blog post isn’t complete without a photo so I am dying.

I received this photo the other day. I love how she is smiling... totally making my day.

We just celebrated Mr. West's first birthday. It was a blast and I went crazy with everything having to do with it. I am so worn out but when I can get some pictures loaded I will definitely be showing you. I made a couple tutorials too :) I need to get this thing fixed!  Here is a sneak peek of the party fun...
